Secondary Education

We are delighted to be working with schools, Island businesses and various organisations, with the aim of supporting secondary students by teaching them business skills, inspiring them and by bridging the gap between education and business.

Raising student aspirations

Ed-WISE is working with key partners such as Island Careers Partnership, Island Futures and school career leads, to develop an Inspired Learning programme that could be delivered at all secondary schools.

We have already started to and plan to work closely with Island Careers Partnership and Solent LEP, to support those organisations in the fusion of local business with education.

Young Enterprise

In Autumn 2019, Ed-WISE was invited to become an Associate partner of Young Enterprise and to deliver their Company Programme to secondary schools on the Island. The Company Programme introduces school teams to the world of business, concept development and decision making.

This has been a great success to date and we are now planning further projects alongside Young Enterprise.

Inspired Learning

Inspired Learning involves Ed-WISE contracted personnel to deliver engaging content which would encourage students to think differently about life choices. This builds on the success of Young Enterprise and engages with students at influential life stages at primary and secondary schools.

The content would focus on delivering a programme of school assemblies, specific year group projects and introducing an innovative and interactive careers website.
